In Alicante we repair almost any type of shutter fault. These are the ones we see most often:
- Broken or dislodged slats: knocks, rust or wear cause them to come off their track and jam the movement.
- Jammed or worn axle: the axle the shutter rolls onto loses tension or gets stuck, making it hard to raise and lower.
- Damaged or misaligned guides: if the shutter doesn't come down straight or jumps out of the guide, it's usually an alignment issue.
- Broken central lock: common in security shutters on shops; if it fails, it compromises the premises' protection.
- Broken handle, strap or pull cord: on manual shutters, this is one of the most frequent faults — and one of the quickest to fix.
